Sunday Seminar: Back Attacks

Last Sunday, December 13th, I taught a 2-hour Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu seminar on "Attacking from the Back: the Crucifix, the Truck, and Leg-Over-the-Arm".  Attendees learned how to flow between attacking positions and neutralize defenses while launching attacks.

We covered numerous ways to immobilize the arms and attack the neck, as well as ways to flow directly to other control positions and submissions.  We also added quite a bit of drilling to make sure that attendees could reproduce the results in real-time action.

Here's an impromptu sparring match from Friday's class.  In it, you'll see me take the back and tie up the arms a few times with the material from Sunday's workshop.  For those who missed the seminar, it's a little taste of what we covered.
